Sustaining Engineering
Sustaining Engineering is all about creating the plans and processes necessary for supporting products and systems after their release. Usually, our Sustaining Engineering programs involves creating maintenance plans, scheduling regular updates, assigning teams to manage products, and completing other tasks related to maximizing performance and lifespan.
Post-Market Surveillance
Postmarket surveillance is the active, systematic, scientifically valid collection, analysis, and interpretation of data (i.e. complaints) or other information about a marketed device. The data collected under a surveillance order help to address important public health questions on the safety and effectiveness of a device.
Root-Cause Analysis
Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) is the practice of ascertaining the underlying reasons as to why something is going wrong, rather than merely treating the symptoms of a problem. This approach often requires more upfront resources to identify and systematically prevent issues. That being said, once the we have discovered the Root-Cause of an issue, it becomes much easier to learn from the issue, ultimately creating a better product in the end.
